  1. Alexis Vasilikos (b. 1977, Athens) is a visual artist, editor, and educator based in Athens and Leros. He studied photography at Focus and A.K.T.O. in Athens and  Art History at D.A.M.S. in Bologna. Vasilikos’ artistic practice is primarily focused on photography, traversing genres from documentary and peripatetic imagery to abstract and meta-photographic approaches. His work is deeply shaped by his studies in Yoga and Eastern philosophy, often incorporating a meditative process that explores the spiritual experience and the inner realms of perception. Since 2012, he has been co-editing Phases Magazine, an online platform dedicated to fine art photography. Vasilikos’ work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally and is held in both private and public collections. He is represented by CAN Christina Androulidaki Gallery.
