  1. Alexis Vasilikos (b. 1977, Athens) is a visual artist, editor, and educator based between Athens and Leros. He studied photography at Focus and A.K.T.O. in Athens and Art History at D.A.M.S. in Bologna. Vasilikos primarily works with photography, exploring a range of genres from documentary and peripatetic imagery to abstract and meta-photographic practices. His work is deeply influenced by his studies in Yoga and Eastern philosophy, often embracing a meditative approach that delves into the spiritual experience and the inner dimensions of perception. Since 2012, Vasilikos has co-edited Phases Magazine, an online platform dedicated to fine art photography. He is represented by CAN Christina Androulidaki Gallery. His work has been exhibited internationally, featured in numerous solo and group shows, and is included in both private and public collections.
